Founder and Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Matt Friederichs was raised in the area and has enjoyed a successful career with over 20 years of experience performing thousands of surgeries. Originally from Wahpeton, ND, Alex attended Presentation College in Aberdeen, SD majoring in radiologic technology. While playing baseball for the Saints, he was named a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics baseball scholar-athlete.

Alex worked as an X-ray technologist for three years before earning his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of South Dakota.

Alex is excited to work closely with Dr. Friederichs to provide expert and personalized orthopedic care to all patients. He finds great joy in making patients feel heard and respected and strives to positively impact each patient to get them back to doing what they love, pain-free.

Alex loves spending time with his wife Kelsey and son Rylan when he is not working. He also enjoys watching sports, golfing, hunting, and grilling.
